Description
The KY-018 photoresistor (also known as LDR or photodiode) is an electronic sensor used to measure the brightness of light. It consists of a photodiode coupled to a resistor. When light falls on the photoresistor, the photodiode is activated and the resistance of the sensor changes. This resistance value can be measured By an external circuit to determine the brightness of the light. The KY-018 photoresistor is a useful tool for automatically controlling lighting, adjusting displays to ambient brightness and many other applications.
